Daiso, the variety store chain based in Japan, keeps adding U.S. stores with a new location near Dallas opening April 5 as the first under the banner in the state to offer the company’s Threeppy line of kitchenware, storage and home decor products.
Daiso is just beginning to roll out the Threeppy product line in the United States. Daiso designs Threeppy merchandise to be useful but also novel and fun. According to Daiso, the Threeppy brand’s theme is summed up in the slogan “Adorable, just for you!” and places an emphasizes on high-quality products with a playful, pastel aesthetic meant to add personal touches to everyday essentials and room decor. For example, among Daiso’s kitchenware offering available in Threeppy stores is a range featuring a unique cracked glaze pattern that gets its look from a cooling process called Kan-nyu. The new store in North Richland Hills, TX, will also offer a product assortment typical of Daiso, including Japanese-inspired home goods, kitchenware, beauty, stationery and snacks.

It’s an exciting expansion, and we’re eager to introduce this experience to the community.”

A Crystal Lake, IL, Daiso store opening on April 5 will offer Threeppy products. Daiso previously announced an April 5 store opening in Albuquerque, NM, and April 12 store openings in Centennial, CO, and Crystal, MN. These stores will debut with the retailer’s standard product assortment.
Daiso has been rapidly adding stores across the United States including its first Florida location, in Tampa, and first two Illinois locations, in Willowbrooks and South Elgin, during January. Daiso’s first two Colorado locations opened during March, in Fort Collins and Aurora. Daiso opened a store in Gresham, OR, on March 22 and one in Niles, IL, on March 8.
The company offers Japanese-stye home goods, snacks, toys and plush in a value line up positioned to compete with companies such as Miniso and, to a limited extent, companies such as Temu and Shein that offer a broader product assortments. Daiso headquarters is in Higashihiroshima, Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan. Its U.S. headquarters is in Anaheim, CA.
