Crate & Barrel Holdings has promoted three executives: Alicia Waters, who previously served as chief marketing officer, to executive vp for Crate & Barrel and Crate & Kids; Sebastian Brauer, who previously served as vp of product design and development, to senior vp for product design, development and metaverse; and Joan King, who previously served as senior vp of e-commerce and international, to executive vice vp of digital and international growth, the company announced.
All three promotions reflect Crate & Barrel’s commitment to growth and reinforce its strategic vision to unify and elevate the customer experience across its family of brands, the company asserted.
Waters will drive the strategic direction of the business from product and marketing to retail operations, digital excellence and employee engagement, Crate & Barrel stated.
Brauer will continue to oversee the product design, development, and visual merchandising teams for Crate & Barrel brands, the company noted, and take on responsibility for the strategic vision of the future metaverse and web3.
King will continue to lead and build the company’s digital vision across brands and lead the company’s international expansion into new markets this year, Crate & Barrel indicated.
“All three individuals are strong, purpose-driven leaders and have continuously brought value and innovation to the business,” said Janet Hayes, CEO of Crate & Barrel Holdings, announcing the promotions. “Their leadership has been fundamental to our customer-centric mindset, and I know they will continue to lead Crate & Barrel Holdings into the future with vision, drive and intention.”
