In developing a cross-brand gifting initiative, Crate & Barrel Holdings has created a Shared Registry Program, giving couples and individuals access to all goods from the company’s banners when establishing a checklist for their special life events at any of its operations.
The newly-organized Shared Registry Program gives consumers access to the full range of goods carried by the company’s Crate & Barrel, Crate & Kids, and CB2. Registrants can choose among exclusive Crate & Barrel products from brands such as KitchenAid and Le Creuset, sought-after nursery pieces from Crate & Kids, entertaining pieces and designer-led collections from CB2.
Among the features offered by the shared registry:
- Thousands More Options. Add Crate & Barrel, CB2 or Crate & Kids items to the same registry with one simple sign-on.
- Group Gifting. Gift-buyers can contribute collectively to high-priced items.
- Registry Concierge. Provides one-on-one tips and customized product recommendations from registry specialists in-store or online.
- Exclusive Discounts. Consumers who sign up enjoy 15% off registry items for six months after an event.
- Easy App Access. Check into a registry from anywhere through the Crate & Barrel or CB2 app.
- Shipping On Us. Free shipping on eligible purchases of $50 or more.
Consumers in the United States can already access the Registry at CB2, The Wedding Registry at Crate & Barrel, and The Baby Registry at Crate & Kids in-store or online and get access to goods across banners. Starting in February, they will be able to do the same via the new CB2 app and the updated Crate & Barrel app. The Registry at CB2 and shared registry experience will debut in Canada later this year. Exclusive in-store events will encourage registrants to explore products for themselves as they consider the registry offerings.
“We are committed to helping customers build a home with purpose through every stage of life. We are proud to expand our offerings through an innovative shared registry experience using all of Crate & Barrel Holdings’ industry-leading home brands,” said Janet Hayes, CEO of Crate & Barrel Holdings, in announcing the new registry program.
