Five Below has announced that Kristy Chipman will join the company as CFO and Treasurer on July 1, replacing Kenneth Bull, who was promoted to the COO role in March.
Chipman previously was executive vice president, CFO and COO at Ruth’s Chris Hospitality Group. At Five Below, she will report to Joel Anderson, president and CEO.
Bull served as the Five Below CFO and treasurer from 2012. He joined the company as senior vice president, finance in 2005. Before that, Bull served in various senior finance roles at retail organizations including Urban Outfitters, according to Five Below.
“We are excited to welcome Kristy to the Five Below team as our new CFO,” Anderson stated. “Kristy has a track record of delivering results with a collaborative approach and has demonstrated strong financial stewardship as a leader throughout her career. We look forward to her leadership of our finance organization and her contributions in helping drive our ‘Triple Double’ strategy.”
