Although it has stepped back a bit from private labels recently, Bed Bath & Beyond has announced that the company’s buybuy BABY banner has launched its first exclusive brand: Mighty Goods.
At launch, the new brand encompasses an exclusive collection of baby and toddler essentials informed by and designed for the realities of parenting, as Bed Bath & Beyond characterized it. Available in buybuy BABY stores and online at buybuybaby.com, Mighty Goods products start at $2 in an assortment that includes apparel, bed and bath products, room decor, nursery furniture and storage items, the company stated.
Mighty Goods, by design, is an assortment of solution-oriented products featuring traditional color palettes and neutral tones to make mixing and matching easy, Bed Bath & Beyond maintained. Highlights include nursery furniture under $350 including a Greenguard Gold certified 4-in-1 convertible crib for only $190, a traditional glider with ottoman for $280 and a modern upholstered glider for $340. In other product categories, apparel gets a large presentation but other home merchandise includes the Cloud Storage Hamper at $25, the Square Storage Bin set at $35 and the 3-Piece Wood Frame Set at $19.
“We’re always listening to what our buybuy BABY community wants and needs,” said Patty Wu, executive vp, Bed Bath & Beyond and brand president of buybuy BABY, in announcing the new own brand. “That’s how we know quality products at parent-friendly prices are important, and the Mighty Goods brand allows us to offer parents expanded product options through a curated line that meets their needs from newborn through toddler. We’re excited to launch our first buybuy BABY exclusive brand, which is designed with value front and center, so parents can find quality and great design while staying within their budget.”
