In an initiative to get ahead of a season, Bed Bath & Beyond has kicked off this year’s Back-to-College efforts with promotions designed for collegiate kids and their parents transitioning to an on- or off-campus residence.
To help with student needs as they enter college, they and their parents can access various Bed, Bath & Beyond deals and services including, the company indicated:
- Bed Bath & Beyond College Savings Pass with 20% off every student purchase through Friday, September 30.
- Pack & Hold, which, starting in mid-May, gives students the ability to shop locally or online and pick up items when needed at a store near home or campus.
- Back-to-College Online Shopping Checklist, a helpful list ensuring students have everything needed for college living.
- Favorite Back-to-School Products, items that help students stay current with the latest trends.

Through the early back-to-school initiative, Bed Bath & Beyond is touting its position as a one-stop solution for all the campus must-haves, offering affordable bedding, bath, storage and small appliances for every stage of college life. Among the products it is highlighting are Squared Away and Simply Essential storage solutions, and products including plastic bins and crates, underbed boxes, space bags, shelving units, rolling carts, slim-lined hangers, shoe racks, cubbies and desk organizers. Bed Bath & Beyond is featuring kitchen and small appliances from Keurig, Black + Decker, Ninja, Cuisinart, SodaStream, Brita and Cirkul as well as affordable and durable cookware sets, tableware, and kitchen gadgets from Bed Bath & Beyond’s Simply Essential and Our Table collections as well as national brands.
To add some excitement to the Back-to-College initiative, Bed Bath & Beyond is teaming with financial payment partner Klarna on a sweepstakes running through July 17 across the United States. Shoppers can enter to win one of five Back-to-College shopping sprees, with one Grand Prize of $1,500 in Bed Bath & Beyond e-gift cards and four First Prizes, each of a $500 e-gift card.
To provide added support to the promotion, Bed Bath & Beyond’s integrated marketing effort to support the 2022 Back-to-College season leads with a “make it yours” campaign that demonstrates how the retailer can help make campus living cozy, stylish, easy and personalized. The campaign will incorporate 15-second spots for connected TV, print and digital paid media, direct-to-consumer mailers and emails in addition to a comprehensive college influencer program, ongoing social content and partner activations, the company noted.
