The initial list of Bed Bath & Beyond store closings is out and although it only includes about a third of the 150 stores the company said it would shutter, the first look demonstrates that the company is thinning out its store density in markets across the United States.
As Bed Bath & Beyond moves forward with its turnaround plan, California has the most store closings in the initial list, with locations in Burbank, Lakewood, Larkspur, Marina, Palmdale, Redding, San Leandro and Santee going dark, the company stated.
