Amazon declared Prime Big Deal Days as its biggest October shopping event ever while revealing additional promotions set for the 2024 holiday shopping season.
Momentum Commerce, a consulting firm that describes itself as a manager of Amazon sales for brands that account for more than $7 billion in annual sales on the retailer’s marketplace, said its clients sold 41% more year over year during Day 1 of Prime Big Deal Days 2024.
As the holiday season comes into view, Amazon stated deals will keep on coming. Consumers will find trending products, top brands and deals within its Holiday Shop, including Top 100+ Gifts, hosting must-haves and the Toys We Love list, the company pointed out. Amazon shopper also can shop by theme and price point with “most-loved” gifts under $10 and stocking stuffers under $10.
Amazon will run its 4th annual Holiday Beauty Haul from October 21 through November 3 featuring thousands of curated deals and gift sets from brands such as Clinique, COSRX, Revlon, Sol de Janeiro, Viktor and Rolf, and Youth to the People.
Amazon will take the occasion of its Prime Video presentation of the Kansas City Chiefs/Las Vegas Raiders contest on Black Friday, November 29, to roll out deals on top brands, the company maintained.
In addition, through October 31, Amazon customers can save 10% on select toys if they spend $25, Amazon indicated, adding it is planning more deal initiatives in the approach to Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
In a Numerator Amazon Prime Big Deal Days 2024 Tracker study, 88% of consumers participating in the event said they would probably or definitely shop on Amazon again in the next three months for holiday items including gifts, decorations and wrapping supplies.
