TalkShopLive, a video commerce and retail media platform, is collaborating with Amazon Live in an initiative that launches Black Friday and features celebrities, including Martha Stewart.
Designed to enhance the live shopping experience for customers of both companies, the collaboration will give TalkShopLive access to Amazon’s extensive customer base while introducing new shows and talent to customers across Amazon and TalkShopLive operations.
The launch will include programming featuring, in addition to Stewart, singer, show host and actor Jennifer Hudson, actor Eva Mendes and Kimberly Schlapman of the band Little Big Town.
Each will host a live show that incorporates a curation of Amazon Black Friday deals from books to music to housewares, TalkShop live noted. Customers will be able to watch and shop content collaborations on TalkShop.Live, Amazon.com/Live, Amazon Live’s FAST Channel, the Facebook pages and Instagram feeds of the show hosts as well as any web or media property embedding the TalkShopLive video player.
The Black Friday, November 29 program schedule runs as TalkShopLive stated:
- 7:00 p.m.: Martha Stewart discusses her new and 100th book, Martha: The Cookbook, and highlights ‘Martha’s 10 Good Things for the Holidays,’ featuring a range of products for the home, bathroom and kitchen on Black Friday deals.
- 7:30 p.m.: Eva Mendes discussing how to overcome fears as addressed in her new children’s book Desi, Mami and the Never-Ending Worries, and presenting special bundles from her Skura Style sponges line along with holiday gifts for the entire family.
- 8:00 p.m.: Jennifer Hudson introduces her new holiday album, The Gift of Love, as well as Black Friday gift ideas for the season.
- 8:30 p.m.: Kimberly Schlapman invites the audience into her home, offering holiday hosting tips, recipes and a tablescape inspired by Little Big Town’s new holiday album, The Christmas Record and tying in Amazon Black Friday deals.
