In the aftermath of its recent merger with Appliances Connection, 1847 Goedeker has revised its leadership as the company sets a foundation for future growth.
The company announced that its board of directors appointed Albert Fouerti CEO. Fouerti was the CEO of Appliances Connection and most recently served as president of Goedeker. As part of assuming the new role, Fouerti will purchase up to one million dollars of Goedeker securities to supplement his current stockholdings as soon as practical, the company noted. He succeeds Doug Moore, who has also stepped down from his position as CEO and on the company’s board.
In addition, Goedeker has named Ellery Roberts executive chairman. He had been Goedeker chairman, and, in his new role, he will participate in certain corporate, non-operational activities as Fouerti transitions into the CEO job. Goedeker pointed out that the board does not anticipate having an executive chairman on an indefinite basis.
Goedeker also announced the formation of a strategic planning committee that will support the management team as it continues integrating the businesses and pursuing growth. It will include Fouerti, Roberts and Alan Shor, a Goedeker board member, and co-founder, president and co-chairman of The Retail Connection, a retail real estate company.

Goedeker operates warehouse fulfillment centers in the Northeast and Midwest, as well as showrooms in Brooklyn, NY, and St. Louis.
