S’well has teamed up with ethical fashion brand, Zuri, for a limited edition printed S’well bottle and a matching dress made in Kenya.
S’well collaborated with textile designer Shadé Akandbi, who takes inspiration from her Nigerian American heritage to create her designs, including the S’well x Zuri print. The partnership celebrates what the companies say are common interests of sustainability, women entrepreneurship and ethical production.
“Being a small business is being a part of an ecosystem. We’re all about celebrating the makers, the creatives, the doers, the customers, and the supporters who make up our community,” said Sandra Zhao, one of Zuri’s founders. “We’re inspired by the everyday beauty around us! From the colors of the Kenyan landscapes to the incredible style of men and women walking in downtown Nairobi, to the elaborately decorated matatus that fly along the streets, there’s inspiration everywhere!”
The 17-ounce S’well bottle is made from 18/8, food-grade stainless steel with Therma-S’well Technology and triple-layered, vacuum-insulated construction. It keeps beverages cold for 36 hours and hot for 18, according to S’well
The S’well bottle is available now with an MSRP of $35. The matching S’well x Zuri dress is available at www.shopzuri.com.
