Gibson Homewares and Sur La Table have partnered to launch a tabletop collection in late 2022. The line was showcased at The Inspired Home Show and New York Tabletop Show in the spring.
“People loved the Sur La Table dinnerware in Chicago and New York,” said Laurie Gates, Gibson senior vice president, creative. “The elegant minimalism of the plates, bowls and serving vessels perfectly aligns with the brand’s bistro aesthetic.”
“During the pandemic, cooking and dining at home went from being a chore to a joy,” stated David Nicklin, Gibson senior vice president, marketing and licensing, “Consumers’ tastes in dinnerware and serveware have matured, so our Sur La Table tabletop collection was conceived with these savvy shoppers in mind.”
Jerry Haggerty, Sur La Table executive vice president, brand strategy, added, “We are very excited about our partnership with Gibson Homewares as they bring the SLT cookware and tabletop collection to the marketplace. The design and execution are simple and classic, staying true to the French Bistro heritage of the 50-year-old brand.”
The line will include a full assortment of cookware, gadgets, prep, and bake in addition to the tabletop assortment.
