SwitchBot at CES 2025 revealed the SwitchBot Multitasking Household Robot K20+ Pro, combining vacuuming, home security, air purification and smart delivery in one platform while offering further DIY possibilities.
At the core of the K20+ is SwitchBot’s FusionPlatform, said the company. The FusionPlatform is a mobile platform equipped with ClawLock that physically connects with the mini robot vacuum. This allows for different smart devices to integrate into the K20+ Pro, so it can adapt to a wide variety of household tasks, including delivering objects, vacuuming, monitoring pets, purifying the air, providing home security and mobilizing smart tablets. The robot has the ability to perform multiple tasks autonomously for convenience, functionality and adaptability.
The K20+ Pro features a mini robot vacuum, a base station and an adaptable mobile platform. With this setup, it can handle tasks including:
- Delivery: It can deliver food, drinks and small packages up to 8kg of weight.
- Mobile Security: Equipped with the SwitchBot Pan/Tilt Cam Plus 2K or 3K, the K20+ Pro Patrol Kit offers real-time monitoring, motion detection and instant notifications. It integrates with the SwitchBot app to allow users to “patrol” their homes, said the company.
- Air Quality: Integrated with the SwitchBot Air Purifier, the K20+ Pro Air Purifier Kit has powerful filtration to neutralize allergens, odors and pollutants, ensuring clean air in every room it enters.
- 3-in-1 Vacuuming: Featuring a lightweight cordless vacuum, the K20+ Pro Combo offers 3-in-1 vacuuming with four cleaning modes that make it versatile for both deep cleaning and quick touch-ups. TwinFlow Suction technology offers thorough dust collection.
The robot is powered by D-To-F LiDAR navigation and dual laser detection that creates a 1:1 navigational map of the home to avoid obstacles and navigate tight spaces.
The connected device works within the SwitchBot Ecosystem to enable automated routines, such as purifying the air upon entry into a room. It can also connect with third-party smart devices such as Alexa, Google Assistant and Siri to ensure integration into any smart home ecosystem. The remote control functionality allows it to act as a caretaker and versatile assistant, said SwitchBot.
The SwitchBot K20+ Pro will be available on SwitchBot’s official website later this year, with multiple kit options to choose from.
