Smithey Ironware is continuing its expansion with the opening of a new headquarters and showroom in Charleston, SC.
The headquarters is located at the Navy Yard Industrial Campus in a restored 1930s officer’s quarters adjacent to Riverfront Park in Charleston. In addition, Smithey also announced the expansion of its primary production facility as well as the opening of a separate warehousing and distribution facility also at the Navy Yard.
Smithey’s new showroom will provide a place for visitors and locals to browse and purchase Smithey’s entire assortment of U.S.-made cast iron and carbon steel cookware, as well as tools and accessories.
“Our new headquarters and showroom are both a nod to our roots here at the Navy Yard and a visual representation of our continued growth trajectory as a leading American cookware company,” stated Will Copenhaver, vice president of marketing and sales. “We invite the public to stop by our showroom to see our cookware in person, to ask questions, to hear a few of our stories, and to generally get a glimpse of the passion that goes into every Smithey that leaves our doors,” he continued.
