Smithey Ironware has expanded its Farmhouse collection of hand-crafted carbon steel skillets with the new 9-inch Little Farmhouse Skillet.
Like the original carbon steel Farmhouse Skillet and the Deep Farmhouse Skillet, the new skillet is hand-forged by artisan blacksmiths in Charleston, SC. The first run of Little Farmhouse Skillet will include a maker’s mark hand-stamped on the underside of each skillet by the blacksmith who crafts it.
The 9-inch Little Farmhouse Skillet weighs 3 pounds and has a sidewall height of 1.5 inches and a handle-to-opposite rim length of 16.75 inches. The pre-seasoned skillet is naturally nonstick and works on all heat sources, including gas, induction and open flames, according to Smithey. The skillet retails for $200.
