SharkNinja has introduced the Ninja Slushi, a countertop appliance designed to bring commercial-grade frozen beverages into home kitchens.

The Ninja Slushi can make frozen beverages in as little as 15 minutes, said the company, and offers flexibility to make individual servings. With its XL capacity and refillable design, beverages can be kept flowing at the peak temperature and texture for up to 12 hours. The Slushi eliminates the need for ice, so drinks are never watered down, according to the company.

“We are excited to introduce the new Ninja Slushi offering countless possibilities for creating hassle-free slushies, daiquiris, milkshakes, and more, every day of the year, at just the touch of a button,” said Neil Shah, chief commercial officer at SharkNinja. “Our engineering team has developed a truly innovative machine that brings the power of professional-grade slushie machines to the home.”

Over 16 months, a team of engineers worked to create the at-home slushie maker to rival commercial machines found in resorts, restaurants, movie theaters and convenience stores, SharkNinja reported. Unlike many home machines that require ice, the Slushi relies on the company’s RapidChill technology to do the work. The two-part RapidChill system is designed to freeze liquid evenly and maintain optimal temperature, allowing users to create customized frozen drinks tailored to their preferred temperature, thickness, flavor and consistency.

To use the Ninja Slushi, users pour liquid into the easy-fill container, select from one of five preset programs and wait 15-60 minutes for the frozen drink to be ready. The machine can make soda-flavored slushies, coffee frappés, frosé, margaritas, frozen lemonades and more.

The Ninja Slushi is available now for $269.99 on NinjaKitchen.com. It will also be available for purchase in the U.S. at major retailers, including Amazon, Target, Walmart, Best Buy and Kohl’s. Plans are underway to launch globally in 2025.
