SealVax is introducing its food preservation technology that suits a range of edibles and, at the same time, meets storage needs.
Participants in the Chicago show can review a range of SealVax solutions developed to keep food fresh up to five times longer than conventional methods, the company maintained. The SealVax range of products includes vacuum-sealing bags (pictured above), canisters, and containers designed to preserve freshness and reduce food waste.
So, as part of the company’s offering, SealVax has a product line that keeps dry goods fresh and organized, with SealVax’s Voyd Canisters being a case in point. The patent-pending vacuum canisters can effectively store a range of foodstuffs but are especially effective for coffee, chocolate and flour, among other edibles.
SealVax’s patent-pending SeasonSeal System cycles vacuum pressure, removing air in seconds, but can also help add flavor to food. It marinates by separating protein fibers for juicy, tender results. Users just set the lid to Season Mode and the system takes over, vacuuming and releasing pressure in repeated cycles to drive the uptake of flavorings.
SeaVax encourages fast pickling with its MasonSeal Jars. Users create a brine, pour it over fruits or vegetables, seal the lid tight and vacuum out the air. Fast pickling items can be stored in the fridge for up to two to three weeks, and re-vacuuming after each use is easy. MasonSeal isn’t just for pickling but can be used for a wide range of food storage: wet or dry, fridge or pantry, SealVax noted.
