Rosendahl Design Group, a Danish designer and marketer of tableware and giftware, announced it received B Corp certification for social and environmental performance.
Rosendahl Design Group markets several Danish brands, including Rosendahl, Bjørn Wiinblad, Kähler, Kay Bojesen, Holmegaard, Arne Jacobsen Clocks, Lyngby Porcelæn (pictured above) and Juna.
B Corp certification is issued by B Lab, a non-profit organization that promotes sustainable and responsible business practices. The certification is an independent confirmation of a company’s ability to meet B Lab’s high standards of responsibility, transparency, and social and environmental performance, according to Rosendahl Design Group.
“I am very proud of both the certification and our focused work to bring the company and Danish design responsibly into the future,” said Henrik Rosendahl, owner and CEO of Rosendahl Design Group, “The B Corp certification represents an important milestone for Rosendahl Design Group and demonstrates our commitment to responsible business operations and social responsibility.”
Thomas Perez, CEO of Rosendahl Design Group’s U.S. operation, added, “Achieving B Corp certification … reinforces the confidence and trust our customers and partners place in us… This is more than an external commitment; it is a covenant we make with ourselves.”
In 2023, Rosendahl Design Group established its U.S. headquarters in New York City in a move to expand the U.S. presence of the company and its brands.
