Rokitta’s Rust-Be-Gone comes in the form of a specially designed aluminum rod with an integrated magnet that effectively binds rust particles in the dishwasher and, the company stated, prevents rust from settling on utensils, pots and pans.
Whether the result of old plumbing, poor water quality or an aging dishwasher, among other possible causes, the product ensures dishes and cookware remain free from rust stains.
The patented technology used in the Rust-Be-Gone not only takes care of an unpleasant addition to dishwasher contents but also contributes to better health. Rust particles can compromise hygiene and contaminate food preparation surfaces, Rokitta noted.
Rust-Be-Gone already has sold more than ten million units in Germany, Rokitta added.
