Among its introduction for The Inspired Home Show, Microplane built on its collection of kitchen slicers with the Mini V-Blade Mandoline.
Mini V-Blade Mandoline
A space-saving take on the popular kitchen tool, it offers three slicing options to uniformly cut ingredients with speed, ease and convenience, the company noted. Mini V-Blade Mandoline (pictured above) eliminates the need to master knife skills for recipes that call for slices of tomatoes, mushrooms, and other soft foods. It delivers slices ranging from a paper-thin 0.10 inch to a half inch. Users can interchange the thin and medium settings by simply lifting and flipping the reversible deck using its identification markings, Microplane pointed out. Available this spring, the Mini V-Blade Mandoline comes at a $24.99 suggested retail price.
Mason Jar Slicer
The new Mason Jar Slicer provides precise, ⅛-inch uniform slices of carrots, zucchini, cucumber, radishes and other similar vegetables. The compact slicer is easy to use and control, Microplane stated, when making homemade vegetable chips and fruit-infused water or when canning and pickling.

Mason Jar Corn Stripper
Meanwhile, the Mason Jar Corn Stripper removes and captures strips of whole kernels from both large and small cobs, whether fresh or cooked with its durable, stainless steel serrated blade, the company maintained. Consumers can use it to create on-the-go mason jar corn salads, salsa, chowders and related dishes

Mason Jar Spiralizer
Other new Microplane items include the Mason Jar Spiralizer, which quickly turns vegetables such as carrots, zucchini, parsnips and beets into ribbon-like noodles. Razor-sharp slicing blades and teeth are made from durable stainless steel for optimum cutting results, the company noted.
