Lodge Cast Iron is shipping its new USA Enamel collection of American-made enameled cast iron cookware.
The company reported the new line is the first enameled cast iron cookware produced in the U.S.
Manufactured in Lodge’s hometown South Pittsburg, TN, Dutch ovens in the USA Enamel collection are available in four sizes — three quarts, four-and-a-half quarts, six quarts and seven quarts — with retail prices ranging from $229.90 to $349.90. The new Dutch ovens are offered in three colors unique to USA Enamel: Cherry On Top (red), Cloud Nine (ivory) and Smooth Sailing (bright blue).
The design of the collection was inspired by American mid-century product design, taking cues from such period items as vintage guitars and classic cars, according to the company.
“Two years ago, we celebrated our 125th anniversary, and with USA Enamel, we are paying homage to our long-standing history while championing the spirit of continued innovation,” said Mike Otterman, CEO of Lodge Cast Iron. “It’s an honor to now launch this collection which is the first-ever color enamel cookware collection made in the USA, cast and perfected in our hometown of South Pittsburg, TN.”
