Kuhn Rikon USA announced the expansion of its Kinderkitchen line of kids cooking tools.
Kinderkitchen products are designed for kids to use, but are not toy-like in size and are easy for adults to use while teaching cooking skills, according to Kuhn Rikon. Each product features an animal character in a painting created by a Swiss artist exclusively for Kuhn Rikon. The company describes each animal in the product family as a way to discover the world of cooking and farm life.
The new pieces, joining the existing dog knives, include a pig mixing bowl featuring non-slip feet and ear handles for pouring; a rooster whisk with a non-slip handle for gripping; a goose mixing spoon that measures one teaspoon; a sheep cutting board with a non-slip bottom for security; and a cat mezzaluna with a child-safe blade and reusable cover. They are also available in two gift sets: sheep/cat and pig/rooster/goose.
“We are excited to expand upon the success of our Kinderkitchen dog knives with these cute, but functional tools. They’re ideal for in-store kids cooking classes and of course, make great holiday gifts. We want to support the specialty retailers cooking classes with demo samples, so please reach out to reserve your spot,” said Sonja Berton, sales director at Kuhn Rikon, “Our design team has outdone itself with the details on every tool, including the packaging. Each retail pack features a coloring page of the Kinderkitchen farm scene. Fun, cute, and above all functional, as all Kuhn Rikon tools are known for across the globe.”
All items in the Kinderkitchen line will be available to ship in mid-October.
