CDN is helping consumers equip their kitchen for precise measurements for cooking and baking with the larger CDN Digital Portion Control Scale and the Waterproof Folding Thermocouple Thermometer.
Digital Portion Scale, 22 lbs
Equipped with multiple features to ensure accuracy and ease of use, the larger CDN Digital Portion Scale measures in pounds, ounces and grams, and features field calibration to ensure accuracy over time. The new scale has the capacity to weigh up to 22 (10kg) pounds and will be on display at the upcoming Inspired Home Show in Chicago. It comes with a 304 stainless steel platform that is removable for cleaning.
The digital scale’s green backlit display is designed to be read from any angle and shows selectable units, tare functionality, piece counting and battery status indication. CDN added, that with a one-second response, and accuracy to ±15 g (5KG) or ±130 g (10 KG), the new scale brings professional quality standards into the home kitchen.
Waterproof Folding Thermocouple Thermometer
The company will also have on display its new Waterproof Folding Thermocouple Thermometer. An upgraded model that builds on the success of the CDN Folding Thermocouple Thermometer, this new version is said to offer faster speed, easy one-button calibration and smooth battery replacement. The design is ergonomic, waterproof and practical.
The 4.33-inch (11 cm) probe is made of 304 stainless steel and features a slim 1.5 mm thin tip that is designed to slide easily into the thickest part of food. The thermometer is fast, with a two to three-second response time. In addition, it is waterproof and water-resistant up to 3 feet, for 30 minutes.
The Waterproof Folding Thermocouple Thermometer also features a rotating display and has a field calibration feature. The amber backlit LCD display and extra-large digits make it easy to read, said the brand and the thermometer has a wide temperature range of -58 to +572°F (-50 to +300°). Additional features include auto-off after 10 minutes and a mounting loop.
Digital Portion Control Scale, 6 lbs
Also on display will be its recently launched smaller Digital Portion Control Scale that weighs ingredients up to six pounds. According to the brand the scale offers more accuracy than measuring cups and spoons as it precisely measures to a single gram, which offers more consistent results. In addition, CDN said the new scale is also ideal for portion control of meals.
Consumers can easily toggle between Imperial and Metric weights and measures in pounds, ounces, grams or milliliters, said the brand and features a tare function.
Available in silver, black and red, the scale has a 5.1-inch diameter (13 cm) platform size, making the compact design ideal for on-demand use when stored on the counter or stored in a drawer until ready to use. Other features include a food-safe housing, a low battery indicator, and auto-off after five minutes.
