Gibson Overseas has rebranded to Gibson Homewares and launched a new company website, GibsonHomewares.com. The company officially launched the news at The Inspired Home Show.
“Our new website and updated company name are a more relevant reflection of Gibson’s growing cross-category capabilities and brand-oriented direction,” said David Nicklin senior vp/marketing of marketing and licensing. “The new Gibson Homewares website is an authoritative resource, not just for all things Gibson, but for our entire industry.”
According to the company, GibsonHomewares.com is designed as a place where retail buyers can get information on all of the company’s bestsellers. Users can browse Gibson’s lineup of brand partners like Martha Stewart, Tia Mowry and the YouTube personality Binging with Babish.
“Gibson has evolved over the last several years from a perennial player in tabletop into a housewares leader,” said Gibson Homewares CEO Sal Gabbay, “GibsonHomewares.com is part of our company’s long-term positioning and vision.”
The website is organized both by category and by brand to emphasize Gibson’s increased brand focus.
“The new website and our debut as ‘Gibson Homewares’ in Chicago are intended to cement our role at the front of the pack across a key housewares categories,” Gabbay added. “This is one of the most exciting times in Gibson’s 43-year history.”
