Igloo and footwear company, Teva, have partnered for a limited-edition collection made from recycled materials. The collection includes a cooler and a pair of sandals.
The Teva x Igloo collection features two products. The Ecocool Little Playmate cooler is made from post-consumer recycled plastic in the body, lid and liner, and it has an adjustable carrying strap woven with Igloo’s Repreve performance fiber made from recycled plastic bottles. The Teva x Igloo Hurricane XLT2 sandals match the strap design of the cooler and are also made from the Repreve material.
“We’re extremely grateful to collaborate with Teva, an impactful, like-minded brand that prioritizes fun and creating earth-friendly products,” said Brian Garofalow, chief marketing officer at Igloo. “With the awesome, matching Playmate cooler and Teva sandal designs made with recycled plastic, we’re making it more enjoyable for our consumers to get back to doing what they love this summer — adventuring outside in comfort and fully stocked with chilled refreshments.”
“Collaborations have historically been fuel for product innovation and experimentation, but our partnership with Igloo represents something more…two iconic brands aligned around a common cause and commitment to innovation with a purpose,” said Anders Bergstrom, vp, global gm of Teva Footwear at Deckers Brands.
The limited-edition collection is available now with the Ecocool Little Playmate retailing from $55 and the Teva x Igloo Hurricane XLT2 Sandal retailing for $80.
