Zavor debuted for attendees of the recent Inspired Home Show its new Noir Cookware Collection. A departure from Zavor’s portfolio of electric cookware, the Noir collection is the brand’s first foray into traditional cookware. It is made of cast aluminum and finished with a Whitford Fusion Ti ceramic interior that the brand said offers easy food release and cleaning.
The Noir cookware (pictured above) features an induction-compatible base that accommodates any domestic stove, and its unique removable handles and flat glass lids allow for easier storage, perfect for smaller or crowded kitchens. When the handles and lids are removed, they allow the cookware to be used in the oven for up to 535˚F as well as the dishwasher.
In addition, Zavor’s Noir Cookware Collection offers a lightweight cast aluminum alternative with superior heat distribution and retention for better cooking. But what sets it apart from the rest, the company says, is the Whitford Fusion Ti ceramic coating that is made of titanium-based particles designed to offer superior durability and resistance to abrasion.
The Noir collection offers an assortment of cookware pieces that have been staples in domestic kitchens for centuries but with modern upgrades. Zavor’s Noir Cast Aluminum Cookware Collection includes (and retails for); three skillets in 8-inch, 10-inch and 12-inch diameters ($39.95, $49.95, $59.95), an 11-inch grill pan ($49.95), a 4.5-qt sauté pan ($79.95), a 6qt sauté pan ($89.95), a 5-qt Dutch oven ($79.95), a 7-qt Dutch oven ($89.95), a skillet set with 8-inch and 10-inch skillets ($79.95), a skillet set with 10-inch and 12-inch skillets ($99.95), and a seven-piece cookware set ($229.95) which will include a 12-inch skillet, 4.5-qt sauté pan, 5-qt Dutch oven, and 1.5-qt saucepan.
In addition to the Noir Cookware, Zavor also showcased its new Air Fryer Lid, designed to transform a 6-qt or 8-qt pressure cooker or multicooker into an air fryer. Introduced this summer, the Air Fryer Lid has eight preset cooking programs and is programmable to a consumer’s cooking needs.
It comes with a frying basket, cooking tongs, and a silicone mat. The new lid, Zavor said, eliminates the need for hot oil and relies exclusively on hot air circulating around the food to achieve that crispy, fried feeling. It can also be used to crisp recipes after cooking and to reheat leftovers. Zavor’s air fryer lid retails for $79.95.
