Horl will feature its next-generation knife sharpener and an eco-friendly everyday sharpener at The Inspired Home Show.
Crafting products with high-quality materials in Germany’s Black Forest, Horl noted that it developed the original rolling knife sharpener and continues to innovate with the Horl3 (pictured above) rolling out in the United States during April.
Horl sharpeners’ design features include an innovative two-piece design with the knife held in place by a magnet at a consistent angle and a double-sided roller with a diamond surface to sharpen and another to hone the blade. The sharpeners are easy to use and provide a consistent, professional-level result at home with a range of knives: 20 degrees for most kitchen knives and 15 degrees for finer blades, Horl pointed out.
Key features of the Horl lineup include:
- A new grip pad with stronger magnets keeps knives in place, including smaller ones that are tricky to sharpen.
- More abrasive ‘block’ diamond disk for even faster sharpening.
- Proprietary quick-lock technology for easily interchangeable disks.
Among other Horl highlights, the eco-friendly everyday sharpener Horl Cruise is manufactured from ocean-bound plastic. The signature Horl3, made with solid oak or walnut, not only features stronger magnets and block diamonds but also new proprietary Horl Quick Lock technology for easily interchangeable disks. Horl3 Pro has an internal planetary gear that allows it to sharpen three times faster and offers six sharpening angles to fit every type of blade.
