Evriholder Products LLC has acquired Base4 Ventures, a provider of value-oriented impulse products across a wide range of categories, including toy, beauty, outdoor living and general merchandise.
Evriholder and Base4 will combine their resources, product ranges and organizational depth to give both companies’ customers access to a broader range of innovative impulse products and programs, according to Evriholder.
The Base4 acquisition follows the recent announcement that Evriholder acquired Progressive International, a kitchen tools and storage company.
“(The Base4) acquisition is very exciting for Evriholder and will help propel us into our next chapter of growth,” said Ivan Stein, Evriholder CEO. “Not only does Base4 have a complementary customer base in the drug, dollar, beauty and mass merchant channels, but its attractive product assortment is one that we can cross merchandise to our customers as well. We look forward to capitalizing on Base4’s design and product development capabilities to bring even more innovative products to customers.”
Base4 President Jon Filipski will join the Evriholder executive team and be responsible for the oversight and growth of the division. “We are thrilled to be united with Evriholder, as the combination of our collective forces establishes us as the best-in-class provider of impulse programs for our customers,” Filipski said. “Moreover, it is a win-win for Base4 employees to become part of an industry-leading company and to participate in future growth opportunities. This truly is a situation where the complementary strengths of two companies create an opportunity to make one plus one equal three.”
The partnership is intended to further cement Evriholder and Base4’s status as strategic vendors to nationwide and international retailers.
“We see tremendous opportunities ahead to enhance our value proposition to customers and suppliers.” Stein said. “We remain fully focused on continuing to deliver outstanding customer service and sales growth that are the hallmarks of Evriholder and Base4.”
