Drinkmate, a developer and marketer of home carbonation systems, named housewares industry veteran Mark Buss chief commercial officer.
Buss, reporting to Drinkmate CEO Douglas Wang in this newly created role, leads company sales, marketing and product development while assisting ownership in other functional areas of the company.
Buss has more than 30 years of housewares industry experience in the consumer houseware products industry, including sales, marketing, operations and domestic and international business development.
Prior to joining Drinkmate, Buss held various leadership and board level positions at such companies as Hamilton Beach, Philips-Saeco and Govino. He is a former board member of SharkNinja and the International Housewares Association.

Drinkmate, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2024, recently unveiled a new stainless steel Drinkmate Lux model of its original countertop beverage carbonator. The company also launched the Drinkmate Spritzer offering the same multi-beverage carbonating function as the countertop unit in a convenient, hand-held design.
