Shipt is launching a promotional online video series to remind consumers seeking to update their homes that they can order more than food and everyday consumables through the delivery service.
Shipt has teamed with YouTube home design and redesign duo Mr. Kate to show people how consumers can creatively freshen their homes.
The Target-owned operation wants consumers to look at it as a personal shopping and same-day delivery service that can fulfill most daily and occasional needs, including entertaining, redecorating and do-it-yourself projects.
The Mr. Kate team of Kate Albrecht (pictured above) and Joey Zehr will create content featuring the duo in their daily lives and as they get creative on projects around the home. As parents with busy schedules, the husband-and-wife designers will demonstrate how Shipt and its network of picking and delivery personnel, dubbed personal shoppers in this case, can help gather and deliver what consumers need in as little as one hour.
Although Shipt is best known for delivering groceries and consumables, the platform partners with its parent Target, as well as such retailers as Costco, Petco and CVS, to provide a wide range of home-related products.
“We’re all excited about a lively summer and so many of us are looking to refresh our spaces as we host more family and friends this season,” Sheila Grady, vp/brand and product marketing at Shipt, said. “Mr. Kate’s content is a perfect way to show how Shipt fits into your everyday life from redecorating our homes to making sure we have all the ingredients for our next barbecue. This partnership is a true testament to our shoppers who act as an extension of you in-store, seeing beyond the shopping list to provide you with that personal touch.”
