Cuisinart has partnered with Williams Sonoma to launch a 50th-anniversary edition of its food processor, bringing back the classic design with a modern twist.
Cuisinart founder Carl Sontheimer first introduced the Cuisinart food processor in 1973, bringing what the company describes as cutting-edge technology, ease and efficiency to kitchens. The 50th Anniversary Food Processor chops, purees, slices and shreds with a classic look that evokes the feel of the original. Partnering with Williams Sonoma for the special edition was a natural fit as its founder Chuck Williams was the first retailer to carry Cuisinart food processors.
“We are proud to launch this limited-edition food processor in celebration of 50 years,” says Christine Kapp, director of media and insights at Cuisinart. “Cuisinart’s food processor revolutionized the way home chefs were able to create in their kitchens, and we hope this limited edition of our most popular, iconic machine will continue to inspire self-expression through food made at home.”
The 50th Anniversary Edition is a 14-cup food processor with a 750-watt motor, paddle controls and an extra-large feed tube. The food processor comes with a stainless steel standard slicing disc, a stainless steel chopping/mixing/dough blade, a detachable disc stem and a spatula.
The food processor is available now on Cuisinart.com and at Williams-Sonoma.com.
