Capresso is showcasing its H2O Glass Water Kettle as a safer, faster and more efficient alternative to stovetop kettles that can boil water for many uses beyond brewing tea, including cooking and cleaning.
The Capresso H2O Glass Water Kettle can hold 48 ounces/6 cups of water and features marked ounce and cup indicators for accurate measuring.
Boiling water can also be used to make instant oatmeal, noodles, and soups – or to blanch vegetables, make couscous, prepare yeast, rehydrate dried fruits, or create hot toddies, according to Jura Inc., developer and marketer of Capresso kitchen electrics. Boiling water can also warm or sterilize baby bottles and kitchen tools and is also helpful for unclogging drains or for creating a water bath to soothe blocked sinuses.
The glass Capresso kettle, combining glass and polished chrome, is offered in a choice of black or white accents. The unit features durable German Schott glass and a patented stainless steel heating dome designed for a fast, quiet boil, according to the company.
