Additions to the Helena Series and the Kita Series are on tap for the Cangshan booth at The Inspired Home Show 2025, where the company will also introduce two newly launched flatware lines and the Kuro Series of knives.
Launched in October, Cangshan’s newest product extension is the Rain and Rain II Series (pictured above) of flatware. Developed with a matte finish, the Rain lineup includes dinner knives, forks, spoons, salad forks and teaspoons, as well as serving utensils. Rain II has a slightly slimmer profile than its counterpart and a high-shine finish to provide its own particular look. It comes in a complete 103-piece set, including 12 dinner forks, salad forks, dinner spoons, dinner knives, coffee spoons, teaspoons, bouillon spoons and steak knives. Sets and open stock options are available.
Currently a Crate & Barrel exclusive, the Kuro Series of knives boasts black and grey faux-wood grain octagonal handles crafted of durable fiberglass, each secured with a single mosaic rivet for an ornate touch. The Kuro Series is part of the X-7 luxury steel collection of goods and is currently available in a 12-piece set and open stock.
Helena Series knives, made from high-alloy, meticulously heat-treated German steel, incorporate razor-sharp blades with exceptional durability and edge retention. Stain-resistant with an ergonomic handle, they mount a slim semi-bolster that balances the knife’s full tang while complementing the sleek, smooth handle lines.

Extensions launching include:
- Prep Utility. The 5.5-inch Helena Prep Utility is ideal for slicing, dicing, chopping, julienning and related uses. Available in white, black and blue, the ergonomic handle acts as an extension of a user’s hand.
- Nakiri. The new 7-inch Helena Nakiri Knife is a full-tang model with a keen Asian-style edge that allows for added stability, easy honing, long-lasting sharpness and increased efficiency when cutting and chopping. The tip of the knife has a slightly angled edge. The Cangshan designed the Nakiri’s ergonomic handle to make tasks easier.
- Butcher Knife. The design of the 10-inch Butcher Knife makes for effective push and rocking cuts. The blade is shaped for slicing, dicing, mincing and chopping a wide variety of meats, vegetables and fruits. The knife’s wider blade helps users maintain control for a straight top-to-bottom cut through tougher foods, such as starchy root vegetables, while the length makes it a comfortable and nimble extension of the hand.
- 10-Inch Chef’s Knife. New to the brand, the 10-inch chef’s knife is longer than many others of its type. Designed for both push cuts and a rocking motion, the blade is shaped for slicing, dicing, mincing and chopping a range of meats, vegetables and fruit. The wider blade on the knife helps control for a straight top-to-bottom cut through tougher foods, including starchy root vegetables.
- Deli Knife. The Helena Deli Knife design equips it to slice through various breads and baked goods easily. A sharp, serrated edge makes clean, even cuts without crushing delicate loaves or pastries, making it ideal for artisan breads, softer cakes and similar baked goods.
- Tomato Knife. The Tomato Knife features a serrated blade specifically designed to slice through the delicate skins of tomatoes and other soft fruits and vegetables without crushing the flesh. The fine teeth make clean, precise cuts, and the forked tip easily lifts what’s sliced for plating or serving.
- Vegetable Cleaver. The new Helena 7-inch Vegetable Cleaver has a straight-edge knife tip and is designed in the Asian style. It is fitted out with an ergonomic handle to optimize chopping, cutting and dicing.
Among the new items, the Vegetable Clever has a suggested retail price of $69.95. The Tomato Knife SRP is $29.95. SRP for the 10-inch, the Chef Knife and the Butcher Knife is $79.95. The price of the Nakiri knife is $129.95.
The Kita extension Nakiri offers a unique hammered texture across the face of high-alloy X-7 full tang blades contrasted by a deep blue, grained handle. It’s a full-tang knife with a keen Asian-style edge that provides added stability, easy honing, long-lasting sharpness, and increased efficiency when cutting and chopping. It comes with a blue magnetic sheath for storage.
