Uncanny Brands, known for its pop culture home appliances, is celebrating Star Wars Day (May the Fourth) with a reboot of its classic Darth Vader Toaster.
The original Darth Vader Toaster introduced in 2014 featured a 3-dimensional outer shell with inside plates that imprint Darth Vader’s helmet onto every slice of toast.
The new, updated Darth Vader Toaster features lights and sound — glowing red and humming like a Star Wars light saber when the toaster’s plunger is pushed down and “ominously breathing” like Darth Vader in anticipation” when the toasted food pops up, said the company.
The Darth Vader Toaster is available on uncannybrands.com, Box Lunch, Hot Topic, Amazon, Williams-Sonoma, QVC, HSN, Macy’s, Gamestop and Home Depot with an MSRP of $69.99.
