Robam, a maker of high-end kitchen appliances, has launched the R-Box Combi Steam Oven countertop unit the company claims can replace as many as 20 small appliances.

The R-Box oven features three steam modes, two baking functions, grilling, convection, air frying, breadmaking and more. Pre-loaded with 30 recipe cycles, the oven also has settings for ferment, clean, sterilize, defrost, warm, dry and descale.

The countertop oven utilizes what Robam calls professional vortex cyclone technology, powered by a dual-speed motor and double-ring heating tube to create stable temperatures for even heating. The appliance offers stand-alone cook settings and multi-stage capabilities, such as steam baking and steam roasting. The oven can cook at temperatures ranging from 95 to 445º F, and the air frying mode circulates air at 2,000 rpm.

Three layers of glass were designed to prevent heat from escaping during the cooking process. Forward-facing cooling technology helps protect overhanging cabinets from exposure to moisture. The stainless steel body, which the company said is safe to touch while cooking, is offered in three exterior colors: mint green, sea salt blue and garnet red.

Elvis Chen, Robam regional director, said, “With the R-Box Combi Steam Oven, we are eager to help people declutter their kitchens while giving them a chance to be more versatile in their cooking practices.”

The R-Box Combi Steam Oven is offered on the company’s website at a price of $599.
