LG Electronics is presenting its new air purifier, the PuriCare Objet Collection Aero Furniture at IFA 2022. The table-style model was designed to blur the lines between furniture and air purifier, according to LG.

The LG Aero Furniture was made for smaller spaces, such as a bedroom, a study or a studio, and users can choose the color of the unit’s base (Crème Rose, Crème Yellow or Crème Grey) and the shape of the tabletop (Round or Track) to match home décor. The smooth surface allows it to be used as a table for storing or displaying objects. The air purifier uses multi-stage filtration combing LG’s Ultra-fine Filter, Dust Collector Filter, Deodorization Filter and UVnano Technology to reduce the presence of viruses and bacteria on the Aero Furnitures’ fan blades by up to 99.99%. Controls located under the device include options for managing airflow modes and mood lighting features. Indicators show Wi-Fi connectivity, air quality, air flow strength and upgrade status.

LG soon plans to launch limited-edition versions of the Aero Furniture, including exclusive tabletop designs by artists such as South Korean painter Kim Sun-woo and models made with sustainable materials.

“With its customizable design, advanced air purification and user-centric features, the Aero Furniture helps consumers create a healthy, comfortable and more personalized home,” said Lyu Jae-cheol, president of LG Electronics Home Appliance & Air Solution Company. “LG will continue to develop innovations for a healthier, better life by responding to the diverse needs of consumers worldwide.”
