LG Electronics USA has expanded its PuriCare line to include the new Puricare AeroTower Air Purifying Fan that combines air filtration and quality with any fan setting.

The Puricare AeroTower was designed with today’s at-home lifestyle in mind, the company said. The Aerotower was developed to include all the benefits of a fan and also to help reduce indoor pollutants and irritants such as pollen, dust, pet dander and smoke with True HEPA filtration that captures 99.97% of allergens. UVnano LED technology kills 99.9% of bacteria on fan blades for added protection, LG stated.

The fan provides purified air through multiple airflow options in rooms up to 818-square-feet. Direct mode distributes vertical airflow either stationary or oscillating, while diffused mode can be used for indirect circulation from the top and the unit, and wide mode distributes air in larger spaces. Users can choose between ten fan speeds that can customize where and how the purified air circulates.

“There are many factors that have played into the increased popularity of air purifiers, including consumers’ desire to take control of their wellness by improving indoor air quality and creating a comfortable home environment for their family and guests,” said Josie Salazar, director of brand marketing, LG Electronics. “LG created the PuriCare AeroTower to meet these consumer needs and even took it a step further by developing a product that delivers cleaner, purified air that also cools to offer ultimate airflow customization for any room in the home whether it’s the family room, bedroom, office or even a home gym.”

The LG PuriCare AeroTower is available now with or without the UVnano technology with prices of $599 and $549, respectively.
