More than 1,600 exhibitors from more than 40 countries are expected at The Inspired Home Show March 4-7 at Chicago’s McCormick Place, said International Housewares Association President and CEO Derek Miller.
Miller, in a letter to the industry, said, “The 2023 Show will be by far the largest gathering of home + housewares brands and retailers since 2019. In fact, the top 10 U.S. retailers have all registered to attend, which attests to the high quality of buyers that will be shopping the aisles. These large retailers will be complemented by thousands of mid-sized and specialty buyers, as well as a strong international presence.”
Miller also noted a wide array of new product and innovation discovery opportunities aligned to the exhibition, including the gia Global Innovation Awards Display and in the New Product Showcases found in each hall at McCormick Place. The Show opens on Saturday morning with two product-focused events – the New Exhibitor Preview, highlighting brands and products debuting in Chicago; and Trending Today, featuring companies offering products that help consumers entertain at home.
The Inspired Home Show 2023 also spotlights several networking events, Miller noted. These include The Independent Retailers Reception on Friday evening, March 4; the Networking After Dark reception on Sunday evening, March 5; and the fundraising Housewares Cares Gala presented by the Housewares Charity Foundation to honor industry leaders on Monday evening, March 6.
Numerous educational sessions are scheduled, including keynotes and specialty sessions focusing on current industry product trends and business topics. “There will be something new to learn and discover every day that you are in attendance,” Miller said.
